To demonstrate that you are an ethically responsible professional you must submit the Kean University edTPA Permission Form before you record your students. A delay in submitting this form will delay your certification application. The Kean University edTPA Permission Form, listing the names of students must be completed and uploaded to Chalk & Wire.
#Chalk and wire verification
The permission forms and video permission verification are available to interns Clinical Interns through Chalk & Wire. Video permission : This must be in place before you video record your lessons. Some common requirements for all candidates are: The handbook and the ‘evidence charts’ towards the end of your handbook should be your guide as to the content of each video, the number of video clips and the length of the clips. Your particular subject area video recording requirements can be different from your friend’s subject area.

Refer to your subject specific edTPA handbook for the video recording requirements.

Students should not share or duplicate materials. Students who are at an earlier level of their studies will receive edTPA materials through their instructors. Step by step instructions will also be available to Clinical Interns.

Instructions on how to access these materials and to complete your portfolio for submission will be shared during the beginning of semester edTPA workshop. These are: edTPA Handbooks, edTPA URLP (Understanding Rubric Level Progressions), edTPA Academic Language Handouts and edTPA Templates. Clinical Interns should use this link, with the Kean logo.ĭetailed instructions for accessing Chalk & Wire, creating portfolios, and submitting portfolios to edTPA/Pearson is provided to Clinical Interns.Ĭlinical Interns will access subject specific edTPA materials through their secure Chalk & Wire Accounts. Students get access to Chalk & Wire through Kean University. Kean candidates will use Chalk & Wire to complete and submit their edTPA Portfolio.
